Here are some practical tips to help you enjoy the race weekend stress-free and stay focused on the on-track action.

FOOD AND DRINK

You’re allowed to bring food into the circuit, but only in limited amounts. Drinks are also permitted, with a maximum bottle size of 0.5 litres, and all bottles must be unsealed. Inside the grandstands and fan zones, you’ll find numerous food stands offering a range of fast food options. Beer, water, and soft drinks are typically available, with prices comparable to other European motorsport events. Free water refill stations are also available across the fan zones, allowing fans to stay hydrated throughout the event without extra cost.

COMMUNICATIONS

Before heading to the circuit, save all essential information on your phone, including tickets, maps, and details about your favourite drivers. Since mobile networks may be overloaded, especially on Sundays, you could face connectivity issues. This might also affect your ability to call friends. To avoid this, plan a time and place to meet up in advance, just like in the old days before mobile phones became widespread.

NOISE

Remember, motorsport events can be quite loud. While the noise levels are manageable in standard seating areas, it's wise to use earplugs when sitting closer to the track. For children, be sure to bring ear protection to keep them comfortable and safe from the high noise levels.

WEATHER

In April, Imola typically enjoys mild spring weather, with daytime temperatures ranging from 17-19°C (63-66°F) and nighttime lows of 7-9°C (45-48°F). Rainfall is moderate, with around 13-15 rainy days bringing 43-85 mm (1.7-3.3 inches) of precipitation. The area also receives about 10 hours of daily sunshine.
